TIMES:
Everyone should plan to arrive at the Resolute about 11:00 AM so that we can load our gear and depart by 12:00 noon. Please
have breakfast completed before you arrive. The Resolute will return about 6:30 PM the final day. Plan to have dinner ashore
after your cruise.
FOOD:
Everyone should bring a sack lunch to eat on our first day. For all other meals, the best plan is to pool funds, plan a group
menu and delegate someone to buy the food. You should include portions for the captain and one crew in your planning. Bring
all essentials with you. Keep menus simple, leave your diet at home for a vacation and think about meals which require short
cooking times. We cook over a barbeque grill on the Resolute and chill in coolers. Sorry, no oven available. Don’t forget
snacks: apples, cookies, etc. You will also need to bring 10 lbs of charcoal per group.
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT/SUPPLIES:
Each person should bring: lunch for the first day, a sleeping bag, and deck or tennis shoes.
You will
also need a light weight sea or duffle bag with a swimsuit, a sweater
or jacket, a towel, a sun hat, sunscreen, long pants
and your toilet articles.

Each group supplies their own food, beverages, sleeping bags and personal items. The RESOLUTE provides everything else
needed for a fun filled trip including sleeping pads, cooking equipment, a spacious ice box, the “longboat” and, of course, the
skipper.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Our
cruise plan is flexible and we try to be as informal as possible.
Sailing instruction is provided for those who may wish to
learn. All crew members may help with the sails, take the wheel, man the sheets, stand a forward lookout on the bowsprit – or
just stretch out and relax.
The RESOLUTE is berthed at Cabrillo Way Yacht Landing, 2500 Miner Street, Slip 260, Outer Harbor, San Pedro, CA at the
end of the main dock.
